Naproxen and Methocarbamol Drug interaction

Dear Ask The Doctor: Can I take 250mg naproxen and a 500mg methocarbamol at the same time?
Dear Telisa: Yes , You can take these two drugs togethere as they do not interact .Methocarbamol is a muscle relaxant while Naproxen is a Non Steroidal Anti-inflammatory. Both can affect the stomach thus it is advised to take them with food .Also increase your intake of yougurt/milk.With Methocarbamol it is important to remember that it can cause drowsiness and/or dizziness thus it is advised not to drink alcohol or take other CNS depressant drugs with it. |
