Dear Ask The Doctor: I took Diovan 4 days in a row and got progressively worse (vertigo and dizziness). It's been 36 hours since I took the last one. I am still suffering terribly from the vertigo. How long until this is out of my system??? thank you. Dear PJ: Diovan is a medication used for high blood pressure. Since you got vertigo and dizziness indicates that it decreased your Blood pressure too low and thus lead to the symptoms. Diovan has a half life ie time in which it takes half the medication to be metabolised is about 6 hours. So you should start feeling better soon. However if the symptoms worsen you should consult a physician in person asap. |
