Panadol long term use and maximum dose.

Dear Ask The Doctor: I am taking a combination of 1 tablet of panadol extra and 1 tablet of panadol cold every now and then. My question: for long term use,what is the maximum tolerated dose of both meds for one week?

Dear Youssef: For Adults it is recommened to take not more than 8 panadol caplets every 24 hours.From what you are explaining you seem to be within that range. I hope this helps.
