Dear Ask The Doctor: Hi there i have problems with my sons behaviour. he has always been a handful but his behaviour is not getting any better. he is trouble so often that i forget half the stuff he has done . He can be rough with other children sometimes violent towards adults i.e myself and teachers cannot sit still always fidgeting timeout reason explained but after the 4 minutes he cannot remember why he is there. :aughs when getting into trouble which the teacher has commented on. Waits until your distracted and sneaks into kitchen to steal sweets youghurt cheese etc. always playing in water i.e flooding bathroom. he gets annoyed with himself when he is telling you something and halfway through he cannot remember what he was saying. snuck into a neighbours garden throwing his plants and ornaments into his pond. turned off escalators in shops and thrown things onto them causing them to jam. He sometimes displays infant like beahaviour like chewing toys licking windows, shopping trolleys, counter tops etc. wants thing instantly puts a squeaky baby voice on when acting very hyper and silly. there is so many things he has done it is so hard to remember. academically he can count to 10 but normally misses number 6, he doesn't have the patience to sit and try to write his name does not display drawing abilities just scribbles and very rarely does a painting at nursery. He is only in Pre school nursery and has been to the head teachers office twice in the last 4 months.
