Dear Ask The Doctor: I have been having heartburn type symptoms for last 12 to 18 hours. Also, to me at least, an abnormal amount of spit in my mouth that i find hard to swallow. No chest pains in arms or back area. I am having slight headache. Also, have taken Rolaids type for indigestion but not helping. Should i consult my doctor or possibly go in to ER for follow up?
