Period symptoms, no blood. Bladder infection causing it?

Dear Ask The Doctor: So I didnt take my birth control this month and my period is absent, no unprotected sex during the time of no birth control. But I was suppose to have my period this weekend. I have Cramps, Bloating, all the period symptoms I usually have but no bleeding. I have to pee more often then I usually ever do. So my question is could a bladder infection make me not bleed?
