Paranoid and anxiety along with depression

Dear Ask The Doctor: My 25 year old son has extreme mood swings. He also acts paranoid. At times thinking someone is in the house or someone is watching him, he then runs around the house looking for someone he thinks is watching him. I know there is something wrong but how do I get him to see a therapist?
