Dear Ask The Doctor: Sometimes my thoughts are extremely loud in my head. They are my own thoughts, not voices or hallucinations. I have a history o anxiety and depression and schitzophernia runs in my fmaily. These epoisodes of loud, screaming thoughts usually occur when I'm reading to myself or listening to music. (WHen I read to myself, it appears I'm screaming it out loud in my head) I can't control it and usually have to wait for it to pass. It's causing me anxiety and scaring me! I'm only 16 years old. i looked up 'Exploding Head Synodrome' and wasnt sure i that could be it or what I can do to treat it . HELP!
