Possible panic attack?

Dear Ask The Doctor: I the other night I met up with an ex partner as we are trying to work out our relationship. We went out for dinner, had some wine, towards the end of the night things got a little emotional but we worked passed it. I went back to his and we ended up having sex, he said that during sex I freaked out and curled up in the corner and kept telling him to get away from me. He said there were a two more episodes where I just said some weird things. I have no recollection of this and would like to know possible causes? Nothing has happened since and I feel fine.
