Dear Ask The Doctor: I'm scheduled for a septoplasty 7 days from now i took my prescription Adderall today but will not be taking it until after the surgery. Is 7 days long enough for it not to cause complications? Dear Nessa: A week is sufficient to cease taking Adderall prior to surgery. Nonetheless, you should still inform your doctors that you are taking that medication before undergoing any surgical procedure. |
