Patient : I'm 22 years old. When I was 11 I messed up my back. I now have bulging discs in my L1 and L2, S3,4, and 5. I started my new job yesterday that I walk to which is only .6 miles away. But I can't stand up straight because I was stagnant for a while before I got this job and I'm very stiff. I walk comfortably leaning forward at a 45 degree angle. While I try to get to work my right foot goes numb and there is shooting pain down the back of my right leg. I've never called out of work, and even now I'm in tears, embarrassed to say that I couldn't stay at work today. Going from a sitting to standing is impossible without excruciating pain, and I can never stand straight up without leaning to the left and forward. I have no health insurance, no vehicle, and no money. Please, is there anything I can do to get myself back to normal. I greatly appreciate your time and consideration.
