recently I tested positive for chlamydia, which I was sure my partner gave it to me because my nurse told me that chlamydia is not an std that lingers...it usually gets worse over time so I possibly just contracted it. The only person I've been with is him and before him was a guy I used protection with so its a no brained, right? Anyways I told my partner that I think he gave it to me and he gets tested a few days later (by this time it had been over a week since we had sex for the first time) by the next week, he tells me his results came back clean and that he had to go back a week later because it was too early for him to contract it but the doctor told him they'd be able to see right then and there if he was exposed to it??? So my actual question is, shouldn't he still be getting antibiotics since he was exposed to it from me? Like isn't that something that doctors do anyways just be safe? By the way, he only told me he was clean, I never saw his results.
