22 weeks pregnant. Dr has advised for amniocentesis

Q: I am 22 weeks pregnant with my second baby and 30years old. Recently in the anomaly scan the dr has found a nuchal fold of 6.8mm and echogenic left ventricular chorda tendinae. All other things are normal apart from this. Based on this the dr said i am having a risk of 1 in 187 for down's syndrome and has advised me to go for amniocentesis. I have a healthy son of 5 years and also no family history of DS in both my and my husband's family. the results of 12th week NT scan and triple marker test came low risk for me. I have booked one more scan at Bangalore fetal medical centre next week. I am very scared of going through amniocentesis. Please help. TIA
