7 year old Verruca on heel

Q: I have a small lump in the heel of my foot. Had it for around 7 years thought it was a verruca. I decided enough was enough and tried everything last year. What seemed to work best was a cotton bud dipped in white wine vinegar and left to cover the 'verruca' over night. It seemed to have vanished but now as its healing it appears to be coming back only less big. I believe it could be a foreign body of some sort deep in my foot.

It has caused me pain in the past but not for some time now.

Symptoms:  Some pain while walking
