'A-V synchronous dependent rythm' Electrocardiogram report

Q: In Electrocardiogram report, what does this mean "A-V synchronous pacing dependant rythm with magnet (dual chamber) all captured. No evidence of PPM malfunction.

A:   Thanks for consulting ATD. This report says that, pacemaker is functioning well and rhythm of heart is completely triggered by pacemaker. Nothing to worry as of now. If you have any symptoms like palpitations, irregular heart beat or getting electrical shocks (if the device implanted is AICD), consult cardiologist for further advice. Have a nice day.
