ADHD medication was accidentally taken twice in 17 hrs

Patient : My son is 11 years old he weighs around 88lbs. He has ADHD and takes Methylphenidate la 20 mg cap 1x a day. He took his pill at 6am this morning. Tonight he went to take a melatonin to help him fall to sleep and accidentally took another Methylphenidate at around 11:00pm. He also took his Melatonin and is now sleeping. Should I worry about him overdosing on the Methylphenidate? Should I take him to the er?
