Patient :I have been training for a world Time Trial Championship. I was tested 8 weeks before the event and during this test my sustainable power output was showing at 320W. Two weeks before the event I complained of fatigue and my sustainable power output was reduced down to 280W. Upon receipt of blood test results from my GP my serum testosterone levels were found to be 4nMol/L. My relative carbohydrate intake was 3g CHO/ kg BM / day. What nutritional recommendations would you provide?
