After being diagnosed as having depression, and after being
Patient :After being diagnosed as having depression, and after being prescribed several different anti-depressants, I needed to get off them as I felt no noticeable change and instead of just blocking depression, they blocked everything to the point of me not being able to function and my life continue to go backwards. I asked my doctor about adrenal fatigue, having read up on it. He did not do the appropriate tests to diagnose this, but I pressured him into prescribing me Hysone and it made a remarkable difference. I was able to function again, concentrate better and was thinking much more positivly. However my doctor keeps warning me of long term use so I keep going off them to give myself a break. After a while of being off them, I find myself slumping into depression again, usually because of the stress in my life. And then my life starts going backwards again, causing even more stress and depression. I have looked online about long term effects and have read that some doctors are being over cautious in regards to Hysone. Mine keeps telling me my skin will suffer, my immunity will suffer and bone density will suffer. However when I am on Hysone, my skin is better than ever and I rarely get sick. I need a second opinion about long term use because right now, Hysone seems to be the only thing that allows me to move forward in my life.
