Patient: Bad reaction to alcohol due to after side effects of bactrim for mrsa or do i have an alcohol allergy?

 

 

Symptoms: vomiting, chills, redness under skin, rapid heartbeat, headache

 

 

Doctor: Alcohol with Bactrim may cause unpleasant side effects such as fast heartbeats, warmth or redness under your skin, tingl y feeling, nausea, or vomiting. In some cases, generalized skin rashes and itching may also occur. So, it’s drug interaction with alcohol and not alcohol allergy.
