Allergic Asthma

Patient

Q: I was diagnosed with Allergic Asthma in February of 2010. My doctor had me start taking Claritin. I took it for about a year. I always had headaches so I stopped taking it. I felt just as good if not better off the Claritin. Plus my headaches went away. My problem is that most of the time I am still having problems breathing and most of the time I have an annoying cough. There has to be something else to give me some relief. I am only 42 years old and there are a lot of things I can't do because of this. This can't be the rest of my life.
