Allergic colitis, or something else?

Q: My 9 week old, exclusively breastfed daughter has suffered from mucousy, explosive, frequently green diarrhea, occasionally with bloody streaks, since she was approximately 2 weeks old. Because she has been growing at a healthy rate, the pediatrician has been unconcerned and rather dismissive, but I know this isn't normal, and my baby clearly suffers abdominal pain and cries and writhes when having a bowel movement, of which she has many each day, not only during or after eating. I took her to a pediatric GI specialist who eyeballed her and said "allergic colitis," and suggested I give up dairy and soy, which I had already been off of for 2 weeks. I have now been off of dairy and soy for 4 weeks, and have been off of wheat and all gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, and eggs for 2 weeks. I am a vegetarian and don't eat fish or shellfish. Over the last week, out of frustration and a last-ditch effort to help my baby heal, I have eaten only rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes, squash and zucchini, pears, and antibiotic and hormone-free turkey for protein, the first meat I've had in 23 years. I have also modified my breastfeeding technique under the foremilk and hindmilk imbalance theory. After all this, my daughter's stools are still frequent, mucousy, and green. The presence of blood has decreased, but there are still occasional small flecks of blood in her stools. She is as fussy and uncomfortable as before, perhaps even moreso. She has not had a fever at any time. Does this sound like allergic colitis, or something else? If it is allergic colitis, is there ANYTHING else I can do? It seems that strict dietary modifications aren't helping, and I'm at my wits' end. Thanks for any insight you can provide...
