Allergic Reaction to hair dye, don't know what else to try

Patient

Q: About 10 months ago was the last time I used hair dye and I ended up having a reaction to it. My scalp was itchy, burning, and very sensitive. It took 6 months to convince my mom to take me to the walk-in clinic and they just told me to take allergy medicine. I took Benadryl for the first month and a half, then reactine for 2 months, and now have been taking claritin. I think my symptoms have only barely improved but my mom won't take me again. I was wondering if there is anything else I should be doing to cure my symptoms, or maybe if it is recommended I go to the walk in clinic again? I think I lost quite a lot of hair after dying it but I think some has grown back since. There is also a red spot that I found recently on my scalp and have no idea what it is. thankyou
