Patient: I am only 15 years old and I am afraid I am drinking too much water I drink around 2-3 gallons a day .I was wondering if there were going to be any health risks.
Doctor: Too much drinking of water is also dangerous. Daily on an average requirement is from 2-4 liters or around 1 gallon. Ove r consumption cause electrolyte imbalances most which are fatal/life threatening. Avoid over consumption of water and drink as per requirement which varies from age, body, climate and geographic location.
