Patient : I have taken risperidone and lexapro for bipolar disorder and GAD. My pyschiatrist started me on 1.5 mg of the risperidone and 30 mg of the lexapro. He suggested that I try lamotrigone instead of risperidone because it will make me more motivated. I am currently on 30 mg of lexapro and 50 mg of lamotrigone in the morning and 1 mg of risperidone and 50 mg of lamotrigine at night. My doctor said to split up the 100 mg of lamotrigone because it was making me extremely tired and nauseus. I just want another doctors opinion to help me out.
