Anal sex and now slight bleeding- normal?

Patient : My boyfriend and I had anal sex the first time the other night. I had been practicing with a toy prior to make sure there would be no pain. The toy was fine and worked and the first time we did it it wasn't painful. I also used a product called anal eaze which desensitizes slightly but I can still feel it. Anyways after the first time I noticed I was bleeding slightly just a drop or two. It is mostly when I wipe after bowel movements. It doesn't hurt and I don't feel any pain. I'm wondering what could be wrong. My boyfriend inspected the area and he said it looked like possibly I had a small fissure hanging out. But it can be pushed back in. Which is gross :(. I actually enjoyed the intimacy of this and don't want to not be able to do it but I don't want to hurt myself either. Is this normal or could something be wrong? I do have a doctor visit planned for Wednesday but am embarrassed to bring it up to my doctor in person because he is a male doctor. I just feel like he would judge me maybe? Is this something to worry about? Also is anal sex relatively safe? I understand things can go wrong but as far as being mostly safe I guess is the question. And also what could be causing this bleeding?
Symptoms:  slight bleeding
