Patient : Which alternatives exist for secondary antihypertensive commonly known as ACE ARBs? am a 29-year-old male with genetic hypertension. I am athletic at 5'11, 175 lbs. Despite trying calcium channel blockers, ARBs, ACE inhibitors and water pills my pressure never drops below 140 over 85. I get right-sided kidney pain and flu-like emesis after 2 weeks on ACE inhibitors resulting in discontinuation. Thanks for your time.
