Patient :Hi, the last week or so I have become consistently tired, no matter how much sleep I get. I have a lot more gas, my stomach acid is back, I've been getting headaches, my lower back aches, My lower abdomen is pressure sensitive, I will go from needing a cheeseburger (must be from McDonalds) that very moment or I won't have any appetite at all, I'm much more irritable (intense mood swings), I don't poop as frequent, & now my tongue is yellow. I had been contemplating possible pregnancy? But I would like your opinion on this. The yellow tongue is what really has me freaked out.
Symptoms: Consistently tired, gas, allergies, stomach acid, headaches, coughing, sneezing, lower back aches, lower abdomen is pressure sensitive, food aversions, irritable (intense mood swings), acne, I don't poop as frequent & yellow tongue
Thanks for the query.
The symptoms that you described are seen in early pregnancy, but none of them are specific to pregnancy. They are seen in other conditions as well. Rule out pregnancy by a pregnancy test in case you miss the anticipated period.
Irritable bowel, anxiety, inflammatory bowel disease could all be associated causes. Also jaundice, hepatitis and other liver-related are to be ruled out as they can cause a yellow tongue. Vitamin deficiencies may also cause a yellow tongue. Kindly get yourself examined by a doctor and you may need to undergo a few blood and urine tests as well. The doctor will wish to treat you accordingly.
Hope this helped.
