Patient :At the end of Jan/Feb I felt a sharp pain right behind my left breast, take your breath away kind of pain. It subsided after a few moments, but I felt body acts, fluidh, for a week or so, and very tired. Exhausted even. My left shoulder and arm beca me very sore, like I had pulled a muscle, and for the following 2 to 21/2 weeks I couldn't lift it higher than a couple of inches or carry even my purse without extreme pain. Also I lost my grip.... couldn't grip anything with my left hand. Since that time I have been very depressed and teary. And even though the soreness and aches have subsided, I still can't lean or lie on my left side for more than a couple of minutes, plus my acid reflux has become horrible and I have been having close to migraine headaches. I had pneumonia last summer and have acid reflux and digestive issues. I at first thought maybe I was Just dealing with heartburn or gas. But putting all these symptoms together, I am thinking maybe I may have had a significant event. Oh,and I had a fluke stroke five years ago. So what do you think... significant event or paranoia? Thank you.
