Back pain

Patient

Q: I have had really servere back ache going right up my lower back to the top of my spine, neck and bum, my legs and arms have been going numb, this started when i was around 7-8 month pregnant, i had an emergency section with my baby and for the year and a half after his birth i havent been able to lift him and carry him for long periods of time, aswell as not been able to walk for along time it gets really painful, i was blaming my scar, well when i went to the doctors thursday he got me to lean forward as far as i can and bend to each side, he said where my bones had softened in pregnancy, i now have bone damage and muscle damage, he gave me tramadol and paracetmol which arent helping and said go back in two which because i may need to be referred to a physio, why is this? is there a name for it will it ever heal?
