Back Pain

Patient : I have been having problems with my Back since the birth of my third child 9 months ago .I had a normal delivery ,but a short time afterwards i experienced numbness in my lower back and pain when sitting .My midwife at the time reasurred me this was just my body recovering from labour. At my six week post natal My G.P said it was a sprain in my coccyx .The pain is umbearable after sitting for more than 20 mins and hurts on standing in this area .This week i returned to my G.P to tell him about the pain still after nine months to be told that i should take ibuprofen and to do back exercises.I don't know what to do and if i should get a second opinion as this has been going on far to long . I look forward to your opinion in this matter . Thankyou Rachel
