Back pain at night, muscular cyst?

Patient

Q: When I was running track in high school, 4 years ago, I hurt my lower back on the right side. ,y doctor described what I had as a muscular cyst. However after a few months of pain relievers and light muscle relaxers I was fine and didn't feel a thing, until about 4 months ago. The pain I feel is not constant, and generally I only notice it two times a week when laying down. 3-4 times a month the pain isn't just an ache, it feels like nerves and pulling muscles and it's too severe to even move my legs up, roll over etc. are the two likely related, and what should my next steps be?
