Back pain/numbness in my buttocks from a recent fall

Patient

Q: I was told 3 weeks ago that I need back surgery for s1 nerve root irritation. This past Monday I fell on my rear and am pretty sure my tailbone is fractured. I can feel the bone move. I'm still in a ton of pain, do I need to go to the ER or try to call my doctor? I don't see the surgeon until the end of April.

Symptoms:  Pain, a lot of it
