Back problem my doctor is confused

Patient : My L4 and 5 are bulging, what are the long term effects I also have a bone spur on L4 on opposite side of bulge.
Symptoms:  Pinching sensation, numbness, in back, hips, & legs unable to sit, stand, or walk for very long.
Doctor :   Hello. Thank you for posting your query on ATD. You have degenerative disc disease with disc prolapse and osteophyte opposite it. It can cause compressive neuropathy. Treatment of it is glucosamine and Mecobalamin. Analgesic such as ibuprofen is helpful in pain relief. I have gone through your query and understand your concern.
