Before I ask I will tell you that I have

Patient

Q: Before I ask I will tell you that I have very loose and stretchy ligaments, but when they stretch they don't go back. January 27th I dropped a bowling ball on my foot and went to my orthopedic doctor. Nothing was broken, and no ligaments were torn so we're thinking all is good. He put me in some orthopedic shoe thing for practically forever (2 months) now I'm out of the shoe and it still hurts very much. I have resorted to walking more on the side of my foot to keep the pressure off off the lisafrac joint. My doctor doesn't want to fuse it because I'm young. He has hope that it will be better when I go back in the middle of June. If not what do I do? He doesn't really want to fuse it but he said that would be the only option. Is it?

Symptoms:  Pain, swelling, and bruising.
