Patient :I am on a low dose combination oral contraceptive (where the dose increases each week and the fourth week of the month is a sugar pill week). I know I am supposed to get my period during this fourth "sugar pill" week but I get my period during the third week. My period consequently is two weeks long every month (during both the third and fourth week of my birth control). Is there a way to fix this problem while staying on the same brand of birth control?
