Patient : I had a few drinks last night, I came home pretty sober. Early hours in the morning I felt sick and sicked up most of the chips I had eaten earlier. I really struggled to get it all out of my throat as it was so thick, but when it did I had bright red blood moxed in with it. Now all day today I have had a really sore throat and a horrible acidy, gas taste in my mouth coming up from my throat. No matter how many times I clean my teeth, or how much gum I chew, the taste and feel of it is unbearable. My whole throat now feels very swollen. I have has this a few times in the past when I havent been drinking, once when I was heavily pregnant and once randomly. What could this be?
