Blood pressure meds causing negative sexual affects

Patient : My husband (38 years old, been married for 14 years, with children) has been taking the medication Atacand Plus, (whose two active ingredients are candesartan and hydrochlorothiazide) for about 3 years. He is on no other medication. For the past 6 months, he has had absolutely no sexual desire. I suspect the hydrochlorothiazide may be the culprit. If he discontinues it, how long before we may see an improvement in his libido/ability to perform?
