Blood Types and outcomes.

Patient: Hi, Just wondering is an A positive Father and an O positive mother can have a B positive baby? Thanks.

Doctor: A positive blood group contains anti B antibodies ie cells that fight off theblood Group B. O blood group again does not have any antigen but has the anti A and B antibody. Thus it is not possible to have a B positive baby. All the best.
