Blood withdrawal procedure

Patient: Hi, I went to a clinic to do a blood test. I do not feel at ease at the procedure, the medical officer did not wash her hand or wear a glove before withdrawing my blood, and her assistant brought her a syringe and needle that weren’t pack ( I suppose she open it in other room and brought it in). Normally, when I went to a hospital, they wear glove and open syringes it in front of me). So I ask the officer if the needle is new, she raise her voice and said that I should not ask an officer that kind of question. It this true that patient not suppose to ask about this? Do I have a right to ask?
