Body Building While Afflicted with Muscular Dystrophy

Patient

Q: I have muscular dystrophy. My type is where I was born weakinsteas of getting weaker as I get older, but I'm too tired to do the type of exercises most people do and I now have a gut. I desperately want to lose it and gain as much visible muscle mass as possible for someone with my condition but I'm lost as to how to go about it. I've thought about trying something like creatine but go keep the supposed water weight off and to make use of it you must have some form of exercise but I don't know how. I even thought about one of those electric belt things but I doubt they work. I need some type of exercise equipment to help my gut and build chest muscle. I plan to start walking but that won't build chest muscle I'm sure. Any help would be wonderful.
