Bowel problem

Patient : Hello, i am 25 male and quite healthy i smoke about 15-20 a day (slowly cutting down) i have had this problem for a few years it started out small but has now become really painful and worse. it doesnt happen all the time but it seems to be every month to every 6 weeks. when i go to the toilet properly i have been feeling alot of pain and what feels like a ripping sensation whilst going. there used to be just a little amount of blood that i would find on the paper, but now there seems to be alot the water turns deep red and i have to wait until it stops dripping sometimes. i have had a look on the internet and compaired the simtoms and the closest i have found that it might be is a large internal hemorrhoid. just wanted some advice really. i get quite embarased when i go to the doctor and feel i cannot talk to him about problems. so i thought i would try asking on here first. cheers jamie
