Breathing Difficulty

Q: I've been struggling to breathe during and after physical exertion, from my torso to my chest it feels very tight and uncomfortable, as if someones squeezing me, during these episodes, and I also have a dry cough that accompanies this. As its continuing to get worse it seems to be happening for a longer amount of time and seems to be happening if I'm around cigarette smoke, or things like body spray/deodorant etc. Often depending on how bad it is I'll have a wheeze or a whistling sound also that I can hear that varies in volume. My doctor suggested that it was anxiety and put me on 20mg of Fluoxetine but, I really don't think this is the case and would like to have a second opinion if possible on what could be the actual problem?
