Breathing problems


Q: For the past 6 weeks I have had a tickly, tingly feeling in the center of my chest. I have also been coughing up a very small amount of yellow phlegm. I don't have to cough but sometimes I try to on purpose. One week prior to this all starting I had a cold. I went to the doctor and he gave me some breathing tests and said my exhaled nitrous oxide level was high indicating inflamed bronchial tubes. he put me on an albuterol inhaler and montelukast almost 3 weeks ago but I haven't noticed much improvement. I am 32 year old ex smoker with a little bit of asbestos exposure. Is there any possibility this could be cancer? thanks for your time!
