Patient :My teen son keeps getting these odd painful skin bumps on his right hand pinky. It started when he was a toddler. The skin becomes tender, starts to raise and underneath the bump is dried hard blood. It take months for it to reach the surface and he is in pain when it is touched this entire time. It happens maybe once a year and it has become quite worse. Can you tell me what this might be? No doctor has been able to give us any reason for this recurrent problem.
