I am a 19 year old male that is experiencing some discomfort in the genitals. I am sexually active, and last had oral sex with a man on June 23rd. A few days later, I developed a sore throat and was diagnosed with Pharyngitis and given Azithromycin and Ibuprofen for it. I received this treatment on the 29th. As far as I can tell, my tonsils are clearing up; they're still swollen, but not nearly as sore and the amount of pus visible has decreased. On the same day, I took a shower with a body wash that contained menthol, and had a bad reaction in my penis and testicles. They were burning for the rest of the night. Since then, I've been having noticeable discomfort down there, including pelvic cramps, a burning "menthol-like" sensation in the tip of the penis, however this feeling does not occur during urination. Sometimes I like urine—a drop or two. Generally I feel better after urination. For a few days I noticed a swollen feeling in my urethra, as if there was a grain of sand stuck in it or something. None of this has ever occurred with me, and I had no problems between the 23rd and the shower on the 29th, besides the swollen tonsils. Is this the result of an STD, or have I just greatly irritated my genitals? It's been almost a week, and though the burning has gotten better, it's still there. I have no visible blisters or discharge, though I do tend to find white "flakes" in my urine from time to time. The urine itself has no unusual odor or color.
