Patient : My question is...I am a little low on iron and have been told to take a one a day women's petite vitamin. I have read that calcium hinders the absorption of iron in more than one place. If this is true, then why was I prescirbed a multivitamin with calcium in it? Am i still getting enough iron in my system daily to make myself feel better?
