Can a breast lift be done in a general room?

Patient: Hi I s legal to have a breast lift performed in a general practice room?

Doctor: I am unsure what you mean by general practice room.Generally breast augmentation and lift (mastopexy) should be perf ormed in an accredited operating room under general anesthesia. It is imperative to check the qualifications of your surgeon to ensure they are a board certified plastic surgeon.
