Thank you for your question. While pregnant it is not possible to have a normal menstrual period. However, it is common to experience spotting, or small amounts of bleeding during pregnancy. Often times this is not something to worry about as it is caused by the hormonal changes of pregnancy one may be experiencing. If you experience large amounts of bleeding, with pelvic or abdominal pain please seek medical attention immediately.
