Can a minor self injury result in fetal resorption after

Patient : Hello! My problem is that I have been diagnosed with fetal resorption at the 9th week of my pregnancy and I would like to ask you if It was my fault because at the same time I used my fingers at the beginning of my vagina to remove the remainings of the vaginal gel I had been using. Is it possible that I have injured myself and resulted in fetal resorption? There was no indication of any other problems. The fetus was 7.7mm at the 7th week and had 170 palms/sec and had grown to 16,6mm at the end of the 9th week when the resorption took place. Please note that I am 39 years old and that this pregnancy was the first successful one after 5 In Vitro Fertilizations. Thank you in advance for your prompt reply.
