Patient : I am a 15 year old female. I've have a cold for over two weeks, and have hand a running fever for at least one of those weeks. My nose is constantly congested, and it is sometimes hard to blow my nose. Occasionally, there will be blood in the mucus (though I think that's just because I have been blowing my nose for over 2 weeks). For about a week and one half, my coughs were wet, but starting resently, my coughs have all been dry. I've been talking medicine like Tylenol, and the like. Household methods, you know, over-the-counter drugs. Anyway, I've had this headache in the right side of my head. It gets worse everyday. It's not a sinus headache, because the symtoms don't match up. The headache is in my whole right side of my head, when I get up from sitting or laying down, I get sharp bursts of pain, and when it starts to throb when pain for no reason, I have noticed that is basically following the beat of my heart. So, my question is, what do I have, and how can I fix it? I don't want a bunch of medical prescriptions.
